Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. Growing up, she listened to traditional music, boleros from the past as well as traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos as well as operas and other dramatic styles. Ana started to learn how to sing as well as play musical instruments as a child alongside her mother. The singer received more formal training in singing when she was 16 years old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Music education was continued by the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and then in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was a member of many opera choirs as well as chamber ensembles. When she moved into The United States in 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her residence in the southern part of California. She performs solo Latin American music for private celebrations and in the Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As a teacher and musician, she is committed to numerous community projects due to her enthusiasm and enthusiasm for music. Ana is also a previous member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana finds it a pleasure to have being able to share her love and love for the traditional Latin American songs with others while she hopes to spread the desire to, particularly in the younger age group for keeping this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
